How to Select the Broaching Holder:

1- Choose keyway width. The insert width and the holder must match. E.g. IN-10 insert fits UT-10 Holder. 2- Choose shaft diameter. This is the clamping shaft. Either Ø25 mm or Ø32 mm. On a lathe the shaft will be clamped to a boring bar holder. On a machining center it can be clamped with a weldon holder or a collet chuck. 3- Choose length. The L versions provide a longer stroke for the keyway. If the standard length covers all your needs go with the standard length. The stroke length for each holder is shown below under L1.
